History: The source of life of all worlds, the mighty stars themselves also possess the power to kill entire planets. Every so often, through great solar flares, stars will shed a small piece of fire. The discarded flame will adopt a life of its own and land on a world, growing in size and power with the more fuel it can acquire. One such Fire Serpent landed on Earth decades ago, just after a deadly forest fire had been ceased. The living inferno left one survive, Fallon, who’s life was turned upside down after surviving its fiery onslaught. He devoted his life to understanding and stopping the creatures, following their burnout trail of victims with the aid of the Federal Fire Agency.
To make matters worse, Federal Fire Agency director Cooke began to believe the living flames were angels cast down by God to cleanse the world. When another creature landed on the outskirts of a rural American town, it caused vast death and destruction until Cooke managed to contain it after it possessed a deputy sheriff. While Fallon enlisted the aid of Jake, a local firefighter whom had witnessed the creature firsthand, and an FFA agent who had realized what was going on, Cooke vowed to carry out the wrath of God and unleash the beast with all of its destructive fury. After shooting Fallon, he allowed it to possess him and took it to a large oil reserve. When it began to feed, the Fire Serpent grew to enormous sizes. It threatened to burn the entire state unless the group could stop it!
As it perched atop one of the huge tanks, Jake planned to set off two separate explosions. As the beast was stuck within the first, the second was ignited, cutting off all oxygen the creature had with it. The firefighter believed the creature was destroyed, but a small ember survived and managed to ignite the fuel, becoming a new! Thrusting a fiery tentacle into the pump, it caused the tank to explode. Within the hellish inferno, the Fire Serpent had grown to an even larger size than before, but the pair managed to thwart it once and for all. Using the same technique, they detonated two separate explosions, separating it from the oxygen and killing it. However, while this specific entity was slain, the sun would constantly be emitting these fearsome beings.
