History: Once an alien planet filled with life, the Moorwen home world was attacked by a race not unlike that of man. Bombing the wildlife to make way for their civilization, it was thought the creatures were driven into extinction, but one managed to survive the holocaust. It attacked Kainan’s village, leaving his family dead. When the soldier left the world behind him, the creature snuck aboard the spaceship. Not long after, the Moorwen slaughtered Kainan’s crew before the ship crash landed in the middle of Norwegian land on Earth. As Kainan was captured, the Moorwen set up its territory and began to kill off anything unlucky enough to cross its path. It soon attacked Rothgar’s kingdom, killing several of the Viking warriors before vanishing into the night. Its attack, however, had given rise to a sort of alliance between the fierce warriors and the alien soldier whom brought it to Earth.
They began to track the beast through the woods, but could only find bloody remains of its victims. After the forces returned back to the village, the Moorwen advanced, attacking another led by the ruthless Gunnar, provoking a war between both Viking forces after Gunnar thought Rothgar was behind the attack that killed his wife and son. It didn’t take long for the alien predator to attack Gunnar’s men again, this time forcing the sides to join forces and set up a new trap in which to kill it. Baiting it and drawing it in, the Moorwen was engulfed in a massive explosion, but its child, whom it had given birth to previously, had come to aid it. As panic broke out, the Moorwen burst from the blaze and killed Gunnar and several others before heading back into the darkness.
As people began to leave the village, Kainan set out to retrieve metal from his crashed ship to use as weapons. In the venture, Freya got trapped in its lair. While the rest came to rescue her, the Moorwen heard them coming and quickly went on the hunt. The child Moorwen aided its parent and killed several, but after its head was cut off, the adult woke up. As the three survivors tried to escape its wrath, the Moorwen grabbed Wulfric in its jaws while Kainan got Freya to safety. Returning back to the waterfall, sword in hand, Kainan took the fight to the alien beast, but the predator monster was gone.
Holding his blade tight, Kainan managed to slice off one of its whip-like appendages before slashing its arm when the creature attacked. In total darkness, Kainan was at its mercy as it snuck up on him from behind, but suddenly Freya stabbed the beast in the side with a spear, giving Kainan enough time to escape. Its own size and speed working against it, the Moorwen fell off the side of the waterfall, barely hanging on with its claws until Kainan swiped his blade across its limb, knocking the arm off and sending the vicious monster plummeting hundreds of feet to its death.
