History: Officially, Apollo 17 was the last mission to the moon by the United States. However, unknown to the rest of the world, an eighteenth mission had actually launched in the summer of 1974. The pair of astronauts that touched the surface of the moon had no idea that they had been sent to actually investigate the activity of an undiscovered species. At first, the creatures kept to themselves, but as the days wore on, the astronauts became more and more aware of their presence.
After discovering the corpse of a dead Russian cosmonaut and their functioning lander, their suspicions were all but confirmed. After discovering strange tracks outside their own lunar module, something got into Walker’s suit. Screaming aloud, he soon passed out before being rescued by Captain Anderson. Back inside, they found a piece of moon rock within a cut on Walker’s abdomen. Soon after, the astronaut came down with a harsh illness and began to grow psychotic as the hours progressed.
After Walker went insane with a fit of rage and destroyed the system controls, the pair was forced to try and seek shelter at the Russian lander. In their quest, Walker flipped over their rover and ran into the dark crater where they had originally found the dead cosmonaut. Following behind, Anderson was suddenly attacked by a plethora of alien, spider-like creatures! Running as fast as he could, he reached the Russian vessel and radioed for help, but no help was coming. The government feared possible contaminants, but their own command module wasn’t aware of the situation and offered to help. Soon after, Walker returned in a totally deranged state. Bashing the window with a hammer, he tried breaking into the lander. While Anderson begged him to stop, Walker’s helmet was suddenly filled with the alien creatures. They breached his faceplate, instantly killing the man.
Anderson activated the thrusters of the lander and took off to meet the command module in orbit. However, as he escaped the gravity of the moon, the rocks onboard began to float into the air. The objects suddenly sprouted legs and attacked the Captain mere moments before he collided with the Command Module, destroying both. After this turn of events, no further trips had been made by any country to reach the moon, and dozens of moon rocks, possible living aliens, which were brought back in previous journeys have gone missing throughout the years.
