Type: Alien
History: Hundreds of years ago, a meteorite landed in what would eventually become the little town of Comet Valley. One lonely night, the alien seeds that the space rock had brought began to sprout. Quickly, the seeds began to pollinate and the spores infected and transformed any nearby human into their hosts. Just three creatures began to run amok, plotting the complete takeover of human civilization. In due time, nearly the entire town fell victim to their extraterrestrial possession. A small group, discovering that the possessed could be freed via ultraviolet light, began to fight back.
As seeds were prepared to be distributed around the world, they interfered. Two of the Seed People were killed, but one got away with a truckload of seeds. Leaping onto the back of the truck, Tom Baines began to battle the last alien. Taking its true form, the creature lashed out with tendril-like roots and nearly knocked him off the vehicle. Opening canisters of fuel, the man tossed a flare and jumped off of the speeding truck. As he hit his head on a hard rock, the truck drove off the cliff and exploded.
After recovering in a hospital and being interviewed by a federal investigator, Tom’s worst suspicion was proven true. He was the only man left that knew of the existence of the Seed People. Those in the room, including the investigator, began to change. They’d soon end him and begin the takeover of the entire planet.
