History: One of the most legendary of all Greek monsters, this nightmarish serpent vanished into mythology after its epic battle with Hercules. Imprisoned on an uninhabited island, the beast waited in the darkness for its time again. When a small group of archeologists landed on the island hoping to make the discovery of their lives, they came face to face with the three-headed serpent. It slaughtered all but one of the archeologists, and as she watched her ship sink in the storm pounding the island Dr. Valerie Cammon was now stuck on the island.
Two months slowly passed until more human arrived. Taken to the island to engage in a ruthless game of life and death, former marine Tim Nolan, along with three ex-cons, had been kidnapped and were now being used for sport. With a vendetta against the type of criminals that killed those close to them, four big game hunters hired Vincent Camden to grant their wish.
Slithering across the beaches, the Hydra came across and slaughtered two of Camden’s men before the hunt actually began. Unknown to both parties, the creature continued to stalk them both until Valerie burst from the trees, running in terror from the thing following her.
The Hydra tore apart one of the humans and exposed itself to the cons trying to defend themselves. As they decided what to do, the Hydra continued to attack the hunters, killing all but one of them. Now with five heads, the Hydra looked for more victims. With the legend of the Hydra being true, the legend of Hercules’ sword also had to be! While Valerie distracted the beast, Nolan and the remaining ex-cons found the cave in which the sword was said to rest.
Before they could grasp it, however, Captain Sweet, whom had abducted them all for his boss, appeared. Just as he was about to fire, Valeria ran in, the Hydra following her. The multi-headed serpent tore the captain to pieces and soon did the same to Valerie as Nolan retrieved the legendary sword. With every swing, the marine cut through its flesh and severed its heads, reducing each one cut off to ash.
He plunged the blade in one final time, almost cutting off its last head. Thinking the beast was dead, Nolan and Gwen planned to head back to the boat, but the Hydra healed the wound dealt to its final neck. It slithered away, following the pair back to the ship where it was quickly on the attack again. It killed Camden’s wife before trapping the billionaire and his hostage Gwen in the belly of the ship.
It lashed out just as Gwen escaped and began to swallow Camden whole! As Gwen and Nolan watched on, unable to fight the thing without Hercules’ sword, one of Camden’s former workers who tried to end this brutal game appeared, holding a shotgun and the sword. Shooting its head off only resulted in spawning two heads instead of one, but he threw the blade to Nolan.
The marine chopped off one head and then the other. As the body thrashed about, it began to turn to ash and float into the air, spinning into a vortex with the sword of Hercules at the center. The remains of the Hydra and the sword were returned to the ancient island, hopefully to never be disturbed again.
