History: In the hot and dry lands of Africa, lurking in the lakes of South Africa, a nightmare stirred. Born from decades of civil war between the government and the rebels, Gustave, as the locals called him, claimed over a hundred human lives. Developing a taste for human flesh by the bodies dumped in the rivers and lakes, it was only a matter of time until he killed someone that would gain it recognition outside of Africa. An American zoologist was savagely attacked and killed by the crocodile, but the fools in the big city saw it as nothing more than a way to make money. Sending a team of reporters and crocodile hunters, their trip was soon about to take a turn for the worst. As the days turned into nights, they managed to snag the beast with a tracking device, but their quest was far from over.
Compared to what else lurked in the plains, Gustave was only one of their problems. Under the command of the warlord who got his name from his own creation; Gustave, soldiers tracked the group down after Steven filmed the man slaughter an entire family in the wilderness. Adding to the terror was the crocodile as it struck at the humans. The cage built specifically to hold it backfired as it trapped Jojo inside. Luckily for the group, grenade-like explosives were capable of driving it off, but its appetite had not been satisfied, and its lust for blood drew it on land.
As one of the soldiers tried to force himself on Aviva, the large reptile lashed out. Grabbing the human in its maw, the creature fertilized the land with his blood and limbs before retreating back into the water to continue its game of cat and mouse. The group, stranded without a radio or any help, tried to get back to the village in witch they started. Holding up on a houseboat-like shelter, their night was far from over. Once again, Gustave approached!
It burst through the boards as if they were tooth picks. The fort fell into the water and it once again got the taste of flesh it desired. Jacob, one of Africa's finest crocodile hunters, was reduced to raw meat for the beast to eat before it vanished beneath the still water again. Morning came over the landscape, and it seemed help had arrived. Their help didn't last long for the soldiers once again returned to terrorizing the outsiders.
Running for his life from the vicious soldiers, Steven rushed back to the water's edge and tried an alternative route. Unfortunately for him, the route he choose was right in the path of the murderous crocodile. The cameraman once again found himself fleeing for his life, but unlike the soldiers, the crocodile wouldn't be evaded as easily. His demise came quick and swift; his body was dragged back to the beast's lair.
Gustave remained silent in the water for the next passing hours, waiting to strike when the time was right. That time soon came when the warlord himself came to take action against the survivors Aviva and Tim. As the man held the two at gunpoint, the crocodile emerged from the water, its maw just waiting to taste the flesh it ever-so loved. Like the people he so mercilessly killed, Gustave returned the favor, crushing the warlord’s body and ripping it in two before swallowing the once proud man in a single gulp!
Showing no mercy on the people he just saved, Gustave followed the remaining two back to the van that awaited them. Luckily for the crocodile, the wheels of the vehicle got stuck in the mud. Seeing its chance, the ferocious creature smashed through the back of it, its jaws snapping at the three trapped inside, especially the wounded Jojo. As the van tilted up and bounced up and down, the wheels became unstuck and it pulled forward, leaving the crocodile hissing and roaring behind.
As the months passed, a ceasefire was called between the government and the rebels, but the terror had already been born. Gustave, a product of man's warfare, continued to stalk the waters of Africa, feeding on anyone that was unfortunate enough to cross the twenty-five foot crocodile.
