History: Legends foretold of an evil beast from the dawn of creation living in the vast swamps around Hollow Mountain, but like any modern, civilized man, ranchers Jimmy Ryan and Felipe Sanchez thought nothing of it, but soon the beast was to make its presence felt in a big way. During the midst of a property dispute with Enrique Rios, one of the locals who had a strangle hold on the town, the creature attacked and killed the only work hand the ranch had. Not long afterward, the son of the man killed ventured into the swamp to seek out his missing father. It soon ventured out of the swamps to feed on the cattle of the ranch. In the ensuing carnage, a massive stampede was triggered, drawing everyone's focus away from the son of the original victim. The boys screams attracted the ever-hungry Allosaurus after it fed on the grazing mammal. Not showing any mercy, the dinosaur followed the child back to the ranch where he was only protected by Sarita and the walls the small house had to offer.
As if the walls were cardboard, the dinosaur ripped through them. Grasping at his prey inside, the beast was met with bravery from Sarita as she tried to stab the monster with a long pole. As the Allosaurus thrashed about, Jimmy returned and quickly saw the awesome sight of the massive creature. Quickly drawing his gun, the rancher tried to kill the beast, but mere bullets had no effect on its thick hide. The rancher quickly headed back to Hollow Mountain, hoping to lure the predator away from its former prey.
The plan worked and the snarling dinosaur took chase, but now Jimmy had no way to stop it. As he ran for his life, both on foot and horseback, he and the Allosaurus ran into Enrique whom was looking for more trouble with the American. The two were quickly forced to join forces as they ran from the still hungry dinosaur. Soon the beast trapped both men in a cave by the swamps, but the beast merely reached in and grasped Enrique in his hand. As the life was quickly drained from the man, Felipe began to open fire at the beast from a distance, along with several locals whom were all gathered by Sarita.
Taking its attention from the American, the Allosaurus looked to gain an easier meal. This allowed Jimmy to escape the cave and once again gain the beast's attention. The man jumped into the swamp while holding onto his rope that was tied to one of the many trees above. Pulling himself up, the rancher began to swing. The action only teased the hungry predator and forced it to blindly leap into the water. The beast's heavy weight quickly began to sink not just in the water, but also into the thick quicksand beneath. The humans it so loved to feed on watched on in relief as the predator vanished into the muck.
