For the questions this site get and might get they will be addressed here.
1. Why do you have no pictures?
Easily the most asked question from this site and it's predecessors, the reason pictures are not added into the stats is due to the fact that good quality pictures are hard to acquire, let alone with over 8000 of them. It has been attempted twice, but it failed miserably.
2. Why do you have no histories?
Probably the second most asked question, I like video games just as much as the next gamer, but some histories are simply impossible to do because they either lack a legit story or have countless route splits or are simply too open ended to do. Not to mention some stats we do amalgamate with timelines.
3. Wait, that is not how you use "it's"!
This originally was going to be fixed, but at the point it was finally known the site already had over 45-700 stats and it has become sort of a running joke at this point.
4. Can I donate stats to this site?
Depending on what it is, sure. Just post it and it might be considered.
5. You're missing some games in the appearance info on X.
Point it out and it will get fixed.
6. X did not appear in EVERY game in the series.
When a franchise has a lot of games to it I tend to classify them in the appearance info as "series" either throughout or entire. If a series is big enough and what you're referring to was only absent in one or a few titles I'll let it slide depending on the size of said franchise.
7. What won't you add exactly?
1. Anything from a game rated AO or based on pornography/hentai as well as dating simulators. Although hard M ratings and something based on a franchise with sexual explicit moments are okay, I draw the line at out right eroticism. This especially goes for anything remotely grounded in pedophilia. If it is not categorized as so and is not grounded in pedophilia, then it's okay.
2. Anything from flash games on the internet with the exceptions of ones released on home consoles.
3. Anything from games on phones, games that exist strictly as downloads, or iPads, in other words no Angry Birds (sorry). Downloadable content varies, if something appeared strictly as downloadable content than no, but if it appeared in at least one game where it was not DLC then it is okay and the game where it is DLC is included for appearance info.
4. Anything based on Disney that is not live action such Pirates of The Caribbean; for the record Kingdom Hearts monsters are from Square Enix, not Disney. Tron stats may be done eventually as a second exception. Marvel and Star Wars stats were in before the company bought them so they are exempt.
5. Anything from very convoluted RPG games, I made very few exceptions to this rule; for the record massive multi-player RPGs count and have zero exceptions. It simply takes up far too much time and energy. This also covers games with unnamed/completely customizable entities with zero official creations from the developers.
6. Anything from games based on franchises for girls, especially magic girl anime. Franchises like this include but are not limited to:
-Barbie
-My Little Pony
-Monster High
-Beastly
-The Mai dualogy
-Cutey Honey (as a Go Nagai fan this hurts listing)
-Sailor Moon
-Madoka Magica
-Nanoha (part of the reason I get specific for rule 1)
-Queen's Blade
-Magic Knight Rayearth
-Yuuki Yuuna
For the record shows/franchises aimed for both genders do not count.
7. Super Deformed Gundam exclusives due to how many exist and how time consuming appearance information updating would take for the entire Gundam section; I made very few exceptions to this rule.
8. Anything from James Cameron's Avatar, I simply do not care for that franchise.
9. Anything made for babies or very little children, self explanatory. Sadly this includes Super Hero Squad despite being a Marvel fan.
10. Adaptions from anime and manga titles I care far too little about to add; this includes but not limited to:
-Berserk (simple disinterest)
-Cowboy Bebop (simple disinterest)
-Trigun (simple disinterest and too few things to add)
-Dragon Ball (this one also has far too many things to add and assigning danger levels would be a nightmare)
-Soul Eater (literally attempted and could not)
-Black Lagoon (the cast is repulsive and there are too few things to add)
-KanColle (disinterest in mecha/vehicle murasame)
-Any anime that was adapted for Super Heroine Chronicles (IE Higurashi, Dream Hunter Rem, Symphogear, Scarlet Ammo, etc.; also I don't care for Higurashi or Rem)
-Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans (easily the worst entry in the entire Gundam franchise and the cast is repulsive, this is ignoring Anime News Network's notorious bias for it)
-Samurai Champloo (if an anime character worse than Mugen exists I have not encountered it)
-Anything associated with studios Ufotable or Trigger (often making some of the worst anime ever made)
8. Update section X already!
Some sections I do not own EVERY game to, with that said you can donate if you want.
9. Why are you doing this? Who cares about obscure info like this?
People that want to preserve this stuff so it will not be forgotten. Please keep in mind a good chunk of the stats here do not much (if at all) information on them in english, sometimes no info at all. That is why this site was made, so no one else has to and they will not be forgotten.
10. There were three Zoids VS games, not one.
This was a mistake that never got corrected. However, considering how much time consuming it would be to fix them in the three games and whatnot it is simply easier to classify the whole trilogy as one. A similar thing is done with Super Robot Wars Compact 2 and Z's sequels as well as the Macross Frontier Hybrid Packs.
11. Good lord what did you do to Nineball Seraph's appearance stats!?
As far as I am aware the NS that appeared in ACE Rebirth is one of a different timeline than that of the Armored Core games unless someone wishes to explain why it is not. If someone can get me a really good chunk of stats on mechs from every game in the franchise I can make a section and move NS there (with proper appearance info).
12. What the hell is "blockative skin"?
A unique term based on a video game trope, read here for more:
tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CollisionDamage
13. In your Warhammer stats why are demon princes listed on a higher danger level than greater demons?
Because princes are more versatile and can last much longer outside of the Warp than regular demons.
14. Speaking of Warhammer, if you don't include download exclusive games, how are Kill Team and Regicide mentioned in appearance information?
These games were given physical PC releases in a few European countries and Russia, by technical standards they qualify. Battlefleet Gothic Armada also had a very limited physical release which allowed it to qualify that included the otherwise DLC to be on the game disc.
15. What exactly are the danger levels?
0- Has no real offensive capability whatsoever.
1- One weak attack, dies instantly, little skill.
2- One weak attack, can only take a few hits.
3- More than one weak attack, can take multiple hits, little skill.
4- More than one weak attack, light armor.
5- More than one attack, some skill.
6- More than one attack, medium armor.
7- More than one attack, has much skill.
8- More than one strong attack, heavy armor.
9- More than one powerful attack, is extremely skilled.
10- Exceptionally powerful, exceptionally armored.
11- Next to invincible, can compete with entities outside its home fictional universe with ease.
12- Currently limited to Elder God Demonbane, Full Possession Shurouga, Getter Emperor, Mistress Death, God Raideen, and Ohma Zi-O; only truly invincible entities without invulnerability or immortality may acquire this level.
Although it won't always be accurate based on descriptions, you can get an idea of the character's power with these ranks. Summoning allies and/or minions with their own individual stats, invulnerability, possession/mind control, and groups such as swarms or packs aren't taken into account when doing this. Intelligence and versatility are taken into account when comparing various entities of similar power.
16. Why is Mazinger Zero not classified at danger level 12?
Because it can be defeated, not easily, but it is not truly invincible and therefore falls short.
17. Who are those guys in the banner?
-Bottom (right to left): Head Crab (Half Life series), Obsidius (Godzilla: Unleashed), Ratchet and Clank (Ratchet and Clank), Dusk (Kingdom Hearts series), Crypto 137 (Destroy All Humans!), Bubba (Rampage: Total Destruction), Kronos (Age of Mythology: The Titans), Rad Hazard (Hydro Thunder), Xenomorph Empress (Aliens: Infestation), Bloody Demon (Zoids: Legacy), and Cacodemon (Doom series)
-Top (right to left): Angry Sun (Mario series), Neo Granzon (Super Robot Wars series), Infector (Dead Space series), Starkiller (Star Wars: The Forced Unleashed), Travis Touchdown (No More Heroes), Dark Decade (Kamen Rider: Climax Heroes), Necrid (Soul Caliber 2), Nanite Nick Fury (Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2), Vulcan (Star Fox 64), Blue Duck (Duck Hunt), Chaos Lord Ephilas The Inheritor (Dawn of War: Dark Crusade), Sinistar (Sinistar), and Bio-Lizard (Sonic Adventure 2)
18. Got credits?
While many stats were original research, most required the aid of outside sites be it some degree or another.

19. What is the Monster Archives Sanctuary?
Pixel Galaxy has added a new section designed for saving many old statistics from the proboards website Monster Archives that lasted from 2003 to 2016 dedicated to information of movies monsters, television monsters, animation monsters, and to a much lesser degree comicbook monsters. Over 3500 stats were constructed on the website before the owner shut it down in November 2016 due to real life issues, dying interest, and the rise of places like wikias that could give more detailed information. A two week temporary shut down of Pixel Galaxy was done to preserve stats that did not have a decent wikia or fan site for the information. Monster Archives was the inspiration for Pixel Galaxy, creating a place where otherwise lost information could bloom and be shared with the general public. While PG focused on video games, we never forgot our legacy. While we only saved some stats at least they now have a new home. Minor corrections to spelling, fighting records, and the abolishing of category unknown were done during the rescue operation, leading to 1491 strangers becoming neighbors so to say. MA was constructed by many contributors: Monster Master (owner), Inferno Rodan, Lamango, SuperXAsh, THEGODZILLA, Majin Gojira, EarthBaragon, and Kane_Locke for all their decade+ work. You will never be forgotten. However, the following sections of Monster Archives were not saved mostly because other wikias had covered everything necessary about them and then some:
-Toho
-Daiei
-Ultraman
-King Kong
-Universal Classics
-Pacific Rim
-Evangelion
-Zoids
-Alien vs. Predator
-Jurassic Park
-Lord of The Rings
-Star Wars
-Aizenborg

-Star Wars
-Aizenborg
