Fog Ghosts
Height: Not Available
Mass: Not Available
Powers:
- Weapons: Reminiscent of their original lives, the Fog Ghosts are equipped with various tools to bring death upon their victims. Most often they have hooks and scythes, but some are also equipped with swords.
- Heat Touch: By grabbing hold of a solid object, especially that of metal, the Fog Ghosts can increase its temperature to the point it can burn human skin.
- Fog: Aiding the vengeful Fog Ghosts is a very thick, glowing fog that disguises them as they approach their objected kills. This fog, like the ghosts themselves, often has very bizarre effects on objects, especially technology, such as shorting out electronics and stalling engines.
- Haunting: Ghosts by nature, the Fog Ghosts have very powerful, supernatural-based haunting abilities. Such tricks they can conjure up at will is putting “life” in water, allowing them to speak via radio, and even taking over a dead person's body for their own use for a short amount of time.

History: 100 years ago, a small number of lepers sought shelter on Antonito Bay. The town’s residents were revolted at such a request, but they also desired the vast wealth that Blake, the leader of the outcasts, possessed. On a dark night, six conspirators lured the Elizabeth Dane onto the rocky shore. Aided by a thick fog, the group of six successfully sunk the clipper ship, killed the lepers, and retrieved the gold.
As Antonio Bay neared its 100th birthday celebration, the restless spirits that had been slaughtered to birth the town began to stir in their watery graves. Rising up at the stroke of midnight, their rebirth meant just one thing for the sleepy town: death. Nothing would be spared, not a man, woman, nor child would stand in their way as they sought out the last remaining relatives of the six conspirators that sent them to their tombs and stole what belonged to them.
As they approached the mainland in a thick, supernatural fog, an unlucky fishing boat was caught in their path. By rusty blades and hooks, three of their desired targets were slain. As nightfall rolled in, the wall of white mist reached the shoreline and blanketed the town!
Watching on from the light house was local disk-jockey Stevie Wayne whom had been a keen follower of the legend after her son brought home a piece of drift wood that began to bleed water and communicated through her radio. As the fog drifted across the landscape and threatened to kill her son, she begged for help over the radio. Just as the babysitter was killed, Nick and Elizabeth managed to reach the home and rescue her son.
Together they barely managed to escape the dreaded fog and followed back roads to reach the abandoned church run by Father Malone. Unbeknown to any of the mortals, Malone's grandfather was the sixth conspirator and was also the one that stole and hid the gold they stole from the crashed ship. As Father Malone retrieved the gold cross his grandfather had formed with the stolen gold, the angry spirits began to break through the tiled glass with brick-like fists.
At the same time, enraged by her interfering, two of the ghost-like beings began to stalk Stevie as she continued to broadcast her warnings to the unexpected public. The two chased the woman to the top of the lighthouse where she tried to make her last stand, but it was futile.
Holding the golden cross before the resurrected Blake, Malone's deed seemed to have saved the town. The spirit reached out, grabbing the cross and forcing it to heat up. As Malone’s hands began to burn, the man was pushed back. Having retrieved their gold, the spirits began to disappear and pullback into the fog as it began to head back out to sea. Even the deadly spirits that had trapped Stevie vanished just mere seconds before killing her. Antonio Bay survived its angry past, but as normality returned, Blake returned from the grave one final time. Confronting Father Malone, the spirit swung his sword and killed the last relative of the six conspirators.
