History: It remains unknown how exactly the giant cave spider got to be so big, but the creature was a pure menace. It first attacked a truck on the highway and feasted on the fluids inside the man's body. The next day, the man's daughter Carol and her boyfriend Mike decide to go and look for him. They managed to locate the crash site and a strange strand of sticky, rope-like silk, but no body. They ventured into one of the nearby caves where they soon fell into one of the creature's webs! Sensing its prey’s movements, the spider arrived. Before it could attack the young couple, they escaped and fled back to town. They gathered up a group of people, including their school teacher, the sheriff, and several others. Their weapon of choice was DDT. The spider once again attacked but was sprayed with the lethal pesticide and seemingly killed.
Thought to be dead, the gigantic arachnid was taken back to the school where the university would pick it up later that night. Before it could be carted away, a small band entered the room to practice. Their music awoke the creature from its short hibernation and the oversized spider was quickly on a rampage! The spider headed directly back to its cave, on route attacking houses and fleeing people. Carol and Mike were inside its cave, looking for Carol's bracelet her father bought her for her birthday. When cave was dynamited and sealed, the couple were trapped inside along with the giant man-eater! The spider stalked them throughout the caverns, determined to feast upon their bodily fluids. After discovering that the two were stuck inside, the townsfolk began to dig into the cave from above. A new way of killing the spider was also thought of: electrocution! They found the couple being attacked by the spider and tossed one of the electrodes to Mike. Between both electrodes, an electric bolt appeared. Thousands of volts of electricity were coursed through the spider's body before it fell to the cave floor, impaling itself on one of the stalagmites.
