Kronos
Height: Not Available
Mass: Not Available
Powers:
- Energy Absorption: Kronos is capable of absorbing any and all forms of energy and then transmitting it to its home world. The more energy that it absorbs, the larger it will also become.
- Machine Hacking: When needed, Kronos is capable of hacking the controls of other machines such as tanks and jets. It can then control these and have them move wherever it desires.
Weaknesses: None
First Appearance: Kronos (1957)
Human Kills: Not Available
Fight Record: None
Home World: Not Available
Type: Alien
History: It came from the stars. Spotted and believed to be a huge asteroid, the object was blasted by a nuclear bomb but showed no signs of damage! It continued on its course until slamming hard into the cold ocean. Rising from the waters, Kronos began to absorb all energy and transmit it back to the planet that sent it. The machine began to trek across the landscape, all attempts at halting its advance completely failing. Mankind simply wasn’t equipped to contend with such a devastating weapon of war!
After a nuclear strike against the machine was called off, the alien robot hijacked the bomber plane and caused it to crash into it! The resulting blast triggered the nuclear weapon, allowing Kronos to absorb the immense amount of energy. Even larger than before, Kronos went on a complete forage for energy, absorbing any that it could find. Heading directly for a hydrogen bomb stockpile, the scientists of Earth had a very limited time to find a way to stop it.
Believing they could reverse its polarity and trick the machine into feeding on itself, their plan worked! Dropping a special attack down upon the robot, Kronos quickly began to devour itself. In just a few short minutes, Kronos completely self-destructed, triggering a blast so large that it could be compared to an atom bomb.
