History: In 1958, an alien spaceship crash landed on the Earth. The craft, and its extraterrestrial pilot, were captured by the United States government and experimented on for years. One man in particular, Colonel Nelec, brought it mass pain and suffering by the experimentations he ordered be done to it. By 1979, the entity had been tortured to the point it began to despise humanity, wishing for nothing more than to return home. When the train it was loaded onto was crashed by one of the few scientists it had befriended in its imprisonment, the alien escaped. It quickly began to tunnel under the ground while the army began to seek it out. Stealing electronic components and humans, the creature caused mass confusion while attempting to reconstruct its lost spaceship.
When the army set fire to the nearby wilderness in order to assure a mass evacuation, somehow the creature caused all of their tanks and rockets to start auto-firing. It attacked a bus on the highway, sensing that the one whom caused it so much pain was located inside. Killing the Colonel inside, the alien got the only revenge it desired. At the same time, destruction ran rampant through the streets while a group of young children struggled to find shelter. Knowing the alien had taken one of their own, two of the kids traced it back to its underground lair to rescue their friend. They succeeded, but the pair was soon confronted by the looming giant shortly afterward. Reaching down, the being communicated with Joe telepathically.
After all this time, the creature still didn’t seek vengeance. All it wanted was to get back home. Letting those it had taken flee with the boys, the being returned to the surface. Its alien ship, which the military had confiscated years prior, returned to it. Taking shape again from the thousands of cubes it had turned into, the being entered the craft and left the Earth, never to return.
