History: Hatching from eggs over millions of years old, a swarm of gigantic Pterosaurs were unleashed on an unsuspecting populace after a earthquake disturbed the eggs in Mt. Ararat, a dormant volcano. The creatures quickly grew and started their hunt, killing a batch of hunters before returning to the darkness in which they came from. When a small group of archeological students were led into the forest by their teacher, Professor Lovecraft, the flying reptiles quickly made their move, snatching up one of the teens after failing to catch one of the ladies.
As the group headed back to the main road, one of the creatures attacked the jeep and carried off yet another one of the teens, leaving just four alive. By the time the winged reptiles returned, a group of Norweign terrorist had discovered the four. While the creatures attacked, it gave the Americans time to escape and meet up with a group of American soldiers that had taken the leader of the villains.
The creatures then attacked yet again, and no amount of gun fire could stop them. They killed many more, including yet another student. She was carried off to the nest and dropped where soon she witnessed tons of chicks feeding on one of the soldiers that was also carried away.
The group found shelter in a lone cabin just as the predators made their next strike. They tore through the roof as if it were tin foil and smashed through windows, grabbing and biting at their lunch inside. Leaving the wounded behind, the others headed up to the nest to rescue Kate and any other survivors.
While rescuing Kate from the ledge of a cliff, the Pterodactyls attacked in full force. Laying almost dead, one of the soldiers detonated a bag of C4 that had been snatched up earlier. With just three survivors, the last Pterosaur was soon killed via guided missile, putting the creatures back on the extinct species list.
