History: Locked away underneath the cold waters of northern California’s Crater Lake, a prehistoric egg remained in a state of suspended animation. However, when a falling meteorite landed in the water, it disturbed the ancient nest and allowed it to hatch. The fearsome reptile quickly grew into maturity and began to feed on the locals. After leaving two people in shock and devouring a fugitive, the mystery of the horror began to unravel. Soon, the county sheriff had his own run-in with the fantastic reptile and barely managed to escape with his life.
With different opinions on how to handle the situation, the local townspeople decided to try and capture it in order to exploit it for tourist dollars. However, just as they began to plan out a means, the long-necked dinosaur made another attack. It wounded a man on the docks, but he managed to somehow escape and stumble into the meeting hall. Having had enough of this madness, the sheriff rushed to the monster’s location and took control of a large tractor plow. As another local leaped on the back with a shotgun in hand, he suddenly found himself overcome with fear. Upon leaping off, the man was snatched up in the reptile’s deadly jaws! The life was crushed out of him and his body tossed aside, but his death distracted the plesiosaur-like creature. The tractor moved in and stabbed its plow into its leathery hide! Screaming in agony, the beast fell to the ground. The last of its kind, the Crater Lake Monster was sent back to extinction.
