History: After a school of genetically enhanced salmon escaped into the ocean, the growth serum, DNA 5, coursing through their veins was injected directly into the food chain. Slowly, over the course of time, the salmon were fed on by predatory fish. The fish that fed on them not only began to grow faster, but the chemical also sped up their evolution. The fish began to evolve into amphibious monsters bent on continuing their species alive. These so-called Humanoids began to stalk the shoreline, attacking and killing the men they found and raping the women.
Soon one of the monsters was snagged into a fishing boat’s net where it ended up pulling down the son of the captain and ripping the child to bloody ribbons. In the chaos, the boat exploded after a flare was accidentally fired into spilled gasoline! As more and more bodies and accidents began happen, Dr. Drake arrived to Noyo to figure out what was happening.
Teaming up with some of the locals, she discovered that the chemical her and her company had injected the salmon with had found its way into the ecosystem, and now the creatures were everywhere!
The group managed to save one girl from the clutches of the Humanoids, but it was too late. She had already been impregnated by the fiends. By the time they got back to town, the Humanoids started their attack on the annual salmon festival. Ripping through the boards of the dock, the monsters tore the fleeing people limb from limb. While small pockets of resistance rose up, another fight with one of the creatures was happening at the Hills’ home. Carol locked her baby away in a closet and grabbed a knife to defend herself, but the monster managed to find its way in.
With malicious intent of raping the woman, the Humanoid moved in, but she grabbed a kitchen cleaner and began to spray it in the beast’s eyes, blinding it and allowing her to hack away at its chest with her butcher knife! In pain, the monster fell to the floor dead, but countless others still roamed the shoreline.
Back at the festival, the men began battering the amphibians with whatever weapon they could find and Jim Hill and Dr. Drake began to pump gasoline into the water. Once burning, the gasoline began to boil the monsters. The ones on land were either killed or forced back into the slimy depths, but the creatures still roamed free. It was a new and deadly species, and a species that could very well take over man’s ownership of the sea in due time.
