History: In order to perfect a cure for a new, extremely deadly virus spread by mosquitoes, a group of brilliant scientists began human experimentation on death row inmates. Convict Ray Erikson was set to be the first subject, but the dangerous man violently escaped, killing several officers and scientists in a large shootout. In the carnage, a large explosion was triggered and the convict was showered by chemicals used throughout the experiments. He managed to escape, but his body began to change. The man became something grotesque! Tracking down his old fling, he fed on her blood and the mutation took its final change. All humanity in the dangerous criminal was lost, replaced by the vicious instinct of the mosquito!
As the body count began to rise, Lt. Tom Randall, the man responsible for locking up Erikson originally, stumbled across the humanoid insect in the tunnels underneath New York City. He managed to survive, but none of his colleagues or superiors believed his story. Worse yet, his girlfriend Dr. Jenifer Allan had also been exposed to the chemicals during the blast and was now hospitalized! Realizing that the creature had been following her, he ordered a complete lockdown of the hospital, but it was no use.
As Jennifer lay ill, the creature slaughtered the men and women of New York’s finest. Bodies were torn apart and drained of blood before it finally reached Jennifer, but she managed to escape his lustful clutches. Lt. Randall triggered an explosion within the hospital, but the deadly hybrid managed to survive and continue its search for its prized mate. When she realized she was slowly becoming a mutant freak like he, Jennifer decided to sacrifice herself to stop it. The creature confronted her back at her lab, but Randall interfered once again. While Jennifer fled, the Mansquito followed. The chase took the group back into the tunnels where Jennifer managed to attack the creature, evoking his wrath. The insect tried taking to the air, but she held onto his leg and grabbed a nearby electrical cable. Using the cable, she electrocuted herself and the Mansquito with thousands of volts of raw power, putting an end to the wicked hybrid once and for all.
