History: Born from lingering radiation the Mexican countryside, Octaman was made out to be a legend, a form of demon that would kill anyone that dare come across it. When a small scientific party was set up to study the area, they quickly came across a strange type of octopus. Later that night, seeking its kidnapped cousin, the tentacled monster walked up on shore and claimed its first two victims as he retrieved the creature. After discovering the bodies of the two dead men, the group enlisted in the help of a local who knew the legend behind the dangerous monster. Angered by the intruders, Octaman ventured onto land once again and added two more to its ever-growing death toll.
Afterward, the tentacled monster began to come onto the dry land more often, and each time he victimized the small scientific group that was now determined to capture it. After having a piece of its tentacle cut off in the lake, it came on land and grabbed the female of the group. Before it could reach the waters edge, however, the others came to the girl’s rescue and confused the beast with a flashlight before trapping it in a ring of fire and saving the girl. As the creature looked around and the oxygen around him was burned out, the monster collapsed.
The group looked to keep the creature alive, but it had no desires to stay with its captors. It broke free and escaped, and now the group looked for a way out, but Octaman had blocked off the only exiting road with a fallen tree, Unable to move it, the group found a small trail leading through the caves of the hills, but the monster would again find them. Unlike before, however, it was driven off.
It made its way outside the cave and entered the blocked camper where it then waited for its human prey to return. When they finally did, it attacked again with its mighty tentacles. The fiend again carried off the girl and headed back to the lake. The others quickly caught up with it, and now knowing she had backup, the girl pulled out her own weapon and fired it into its chest. The monster released her, allowing himself to be pelted with a heavy barrage of gun fire from the group. Struggling around and trying to retain its own life, Octaman waded into the water where it died.
