History: Created by the brilliant minds behind Project Catalyst for the military, a new species was born. Vicious man-eating monsters, the Giant Komodo Dragons patrolled the tropical paradise. When a squad of soldiers was dispatched to field test the beasts, the reptiles made short work of the men. Professor Phipps returned to the island to secure the creatures and get the project back on task, but a small group of thugs made a quick landing on the island during a fierce storm.
One of the colossal reptiles managed to corner a few of the humans, but the beast was kept at bay with a volley of gunfire. The scientists and the criminals joined forces, open firing on the creature as they loaded into a truck. The Giant Komodo Dragon took chase and followed the group, but it could only follow for so long. It was forced to give up its chase, turning around and vanishing back into the depths of the jungle.
The reptile soon found its way back to the compound, attacking as Reese lost his mind after being exposed to its poisonous secretions. The creature fed on the madman, ignoring the gunfire pegging across its scaly hide. Its appetite fulfilled for now, the behemoth once again turned around, vanishing back into the jungles.
As the military prepared to bomb the entire island, the group sought to use the helicopter to escape. Trekking across the island, the group was soon attacked by the monstrous reptile. It left only four survivors while, and soon Professor Phipps would also be infected when one of its previous victims attacked him.
When they finally reached the helicopter, the reptile was waiting. It attacked the group, but the creator of the monstrosities sacrificed his life to save the others. Holding a block of explosives, Professor Phipps allowed himself to be devoured. The explosive detonated inside the beast’s throat, blowing the monster to hell! As the helicopter escaped, the military’s bombs finally hit.
Left alone on the beaches with the money he had stolen, Drake watched the sunset until an entire pack of Giant Komodo Dragons came charging his way. While the research had been destroyed within the compound, the massive reptiles had survived totally unscathed.
