History: Buried for centuries, the skeleton of an alien creature waited to be uncovered. The skeleton was soon found by Dr. Carl Wessinger who, with help of another discovery by Dr. Ash Mattley, planned to revive the beast. After getting what he needed, the vine Wessinger turned his back on Mattley and nearly killed him before vanishing into the jungles to complete his life’s work. His creation grew and soon did his greed. Instead of handing it over to the defense department, he decided to sell it to the highest bidding nation.
Before he could finish his transaction, the beast escaped its cages and entered the jungles where it quickly began to slaughter any human unlucky enough to cross its path. In order to see why Dr. Wessinger’s lab lost contact, Claire Sommers was dispatched and soon she joined forces with Mr. Mattley.
The pair, along with a small boy named Matzu, ventured into the heart of the jungle where they soon discovered the lab. The two groups were forced to set aside their differences as Balakie stalked the corridors, but as the bloody bodies began to pile up, Wessinger decided to use Mattley and Claire as bait!
Before the creature could kill them, the duo escaped, but Wessinger still had a backup plan. Using one of his own men as bait for another trap, Wessinger waited for it to arrive, but before it did, Mattley rescued the wounded man. Soon a battle exploded in the compound as the soldiers began to open fire on the group. Wounded, Loren detonated a batch of explosives. Soon a powerful explosion tore through the complex. Wessinger was instantly killed in the expanding inferno, and as dawn crept over the jungle, the Balakie escaped into the jungle.
Taking their focus off of the creature and onto the three outsiders that infiltrated their base, the remains of Wessinger’s forces began to chase them with a helicopter. After the chase ended with the chopper being brought down, the creature emerged and killed Matzu!
Stricken with grief and the desire for revenge, the two looked at the local tribe for assistance. Ash set up a series of traps for the creature, and when it arrived, the natives began pelting it with arrows and spears. These pathetic attempts did little but enrage Balakie, but as it stared down at Ash, Claire threw him the rocket launcher. The human jumped over the waterfall as the alien creature charged. With a single shot, the rocket smashed hard into its body, blowing it to pieces in a large explosion.
