Fiend
Length: 2 feet
Mass: Not Available
Crawling Speed: Moderate
Climbing Speed: Moderate
Powers:
- Mental Vampire: The Fiends will wrap their body around a victim's throat and head and begin to feed on their brain and spine. This will then allow them to create even more Fiends by implanting them with energy of that of the original's.
- Invisibility: The Fiends are invisible to the naked eye at all times until the radiation they feed on is increased.
- Extraordinary Jumper: The Fiends are capable of leaping great distances.

Human Kills: Not Available
Fight Record: None
Home World: Earth
Origin: Canada
Type: Man-Made
History: For years Professor Walgate lived on the Canadian country side, studying telekinesis and trying to find a way to use it himself. Using electric shocks in his brain, he was capable of turning the page of a book. When an American built radar center was built not far away, the professor made a device to give him some of that power. All of his tests soon became successful thanks to the new electric bolts and the device. His next challenge was to create a being that even after he died, could help mankind. His plan worked and he created one, but like thought itself, it was invisible. When the professor left, the strange creature showed its true colors and destroyed the lab. Hours passed before Walgate re-entered the lab to find it destroyed. Even after destroying the one of a kind machines, the Fiend stayed in the lab. Walgate himself could hear the creature's movements, and eventually it left.
The creature began to feed and create more of itself with the brains and spines of those it killed. The towns folk believed it to be connected to the nuclear energy being used at the base, while others thought it was a murderous solider. As bodies began to build, the military officers stated time and time again it wasn't radiation based nor a killer linked to them. A group was put together to search the woods, one did indeed find what they were looking for, but he didn't make it back. A town meeting was organized and put together, in the midst of the meeting, the lost man arrived, crazed and out of his mind.
When Major Jeff Cummings and a small group of others visited Walgate and ask him questions, the creatures began to swarm. The radiation at the plant had been increased, making the strange creatures visible. The humans inside quickly got a sight of their nemesis and began to board of the windows and doors. Thankfully the strange beings were mortal and could be shot, the only problem being their numbers. Walgate gave a suggestion of turning off all the radiation, forcing them to die, but the controls had been destroyed some hours earlier. Cummings left the house in hopes of using dynamite to destroy the base and stop the radiation. The others covered him from behind with gun fire, killing all that leaped at him. Walgate also tried to leave, hoping to buy Cummings time by trying to control the devilish creatures. Three of the creatures jumped him, and like the people before, killed him.
By the time he had gotten the dynamite from the shed and got to the base, the creatures had broken into the house. The people inside still managed to hold the creatures off with gun fire until Cummings managed to destroy the base. With the radiation flow stopped, the brain based creatures began to dissolve into puddles of goo and liquid.
