History: When the rogue comet, Rhea-M, passed close to the earth, it left behind a trail of radiation which would take the earth eight days to pass through. Almost immediately, machines began to act on their own and attack people. From soda vending machines, to lawnmowers, to vehicles, any machine was a danger to humans.
A group of people became trapped inside the Dixie Boy truck stop by a group of semis. One truck, with a goblin face attached to its grill, acted as the ringleader. Bubba, the owner of the truck stop, brought out a rocket launcher which, among other various weapons, he had stored in the basement, and destroyed two of the trucks before being forced to retreat back into the building.
For an entire day and night, and into the next day, the remaining trucks circled the truck stop. A small military Willys M274, equipped with a machine gun, entered the area and opened fire on the people inside, killing several. It then began tapping out a message in Morse Code with its horn, demanding the humans come out and fill the trucks’ fuel tanks or be killed. They complied, and soon every semi in the area flocked to the station to be refilled.
Late into the night, they fueled up truck after truck until just a few stayed behind, guarding the humans and making sure they wouldn’t escape. But escape they did, through a drainage pipe underneath the building. Enraged, the trucks attacked the station, demolishing it.
Knowing of an island a short distance off the coast on which no vehicles were allowed, the small group made their way to the harbor. By the time they reached it, though, the Goblin Truck had caught up to them. Roaring its engine, the diesel-powered behemoth charged forward, shrugging off the machine gun fire and flattening a member of the group before Billy fired the last rocket at it, destroying it. The remaining survivors then climbed into a sailboat and headed off for the island.
Two days later, a Russian 'weather satellite', which happened to be equipped with a laser cannon and class IV nuclear missiles destroyed a large UFO in space. All machines on earth then returned to normal.
