History: Wanting to max the smartest and strongest form of guard dog, Dr. Jarret combined the DNA of dozens of animals with that of a dog's to bring forth a new form of life. The result was Max, a super-intelligent and ultra-strong dog with a very short temper. Before the dog could even be properly tested he killed one of the lab scientists and was soon taken home by a group of meddling reporters that broke into the labs. Growing tired and jealous of Lori's boyfriend, Max began to stir up thoughts of killing the man. As time slowly dwindled for his sedatives, Max's own rage continued to build, but he managed to hold off his urges to kill just long enough to enjoy the company of a neighborhood collie before slaughtering the local mailman.
At last, after nearly killing Perry, Max was taken to a junkyard with hopes he'd find a better life. He didn't. The owner tried to abuse the dog only to be killed shortly after, but not before burning his eye with a blowtorch. Wounded, Max returned back to his home and attacked Perry, this time severely hurting the human simply by relieving himself on his face. Thankfully, before he could attack anybody else, the cops tracked the murderous canine back to the home.
With Dr. Jarret keeping track, the chase was on but the dog proved to be much faster and smarter than thought of by the police. Leaping over cars and causing a wreck, the dog soon found itself dodging danger in all forms until returning home once again and killing a detective. It was then Lori and Jarret finally met and their different views on animal life collided. Kidnapping her and trying to lure Max back to the lab, Jarret's own plan turned against him when Max leaped on the car, broke the glass, and took out the gun.
The resulting chaos forced the car to crash into the building and allowed Max to continued its game of cat and mouse. The dog soon attacked Jarret, but ended up shot. While Jarret fell back through the window and landed on the computer panels, Lori's puppy began to chew on the machine's cords and turned it on, successfully electrocuting the scientist. Unfortunately, even as strong as he was, Max was unable to survive the gunshot, but his own genes carried on back in the neighborhood.
