History: As a plague of Asian eels, capable of traveling on land, infested the Florida Everglades, the United States began to test various ways of ridding the swamps of the menace. One result was a mutant, a six-foot creature that eventually killed one of the scientists and escaped into the wilderness. Two months went by and the eel grew to over twelve feet as it began to feed on both man and animal.
It slaughtered a batch of police officers chasing down two escaped convicts and soon it began to leave a trail of bloody carnage behind. The eel fed on anyone and anything. Slithering across the ground and through the trees, it hunted without prejudice. The local law enforcement joined forces with the original creator of the super-sized eel, and soon came across a massive, bloody feeding ground.
It grabbed its brilliant creator, but as injured by a powerful electric current pumped into the water. When the eyes of the survivors left it, the beast vanished into the water again. The sheriff and her ex-husband planned a new strategy to kill the beast: pumping it full of sugar, knowing that it had been created to be unable digest sugar so it wouldn’t eat the oranges around its lab of origin.
The plan, at first, worked and the creature continued to seizure, but the thing eventually returned to the water. Delmar entered the waters and began to wrestle the creature, and as it thrashed about, a grenade was tossed toward its snapping jaws. Thinking the bomb as food, the creature swallowed it. It burst from the water to scream in rage just before its body exploded, sending a shower of blood spraying across the water.
But as the reunited couple walked away with their lives, the water came alive again. Several more Razortooths rose from the water, hissing and roaring…
